My loyal water groupies from the Santa Fe New Mexican can find me here now if they haven't given up on me altogether.
For newbie water geeks, my name is Staci Matlock. I'm a reporter at the daily Santa Fe New Mexican, covering water, natural resources, public lands, environment and agriculture. Oh yeah, a little climate change now and then for good measure.
My blog talks about water issues happening around Santa Fe, New Mexico and around the world. I try to give readers something they can use, something that's new, and maybe start connecting the dots on what's happening with water.
Since water invariably isn't as sexy to write about as say hip hop, gangsta culture and murder, I try to have a little fun with H2O matters as well.
Those of you unfamiliar with the landscape of water in New Mexico's history, geology and politics, here it is in a nutshell: chaotic.
So grab your inner tubes and come along for the ride.
